LQHBA Yearling Sale Annual Hip Draw Set May 21

ALEXANDRIA, LA—MAY 20, 2026—LQHBA will conduct their "hip-drawing" for the 2026 LQHBA Yearling Sale on Thursday, May 21 at the LQHBA office located at 105 Carlyon Lane in Alexandria, Louisiana.

The draw will begin at 2:00 p.m. (CDT). Consignors are invited but not required to attend. Results of the draw will be posted on the association's website on May23

There are NO HIP SWAPS for the 2026 LQHBA Yearling Sale.

Jolie Laide Scores Sunday Feature at Remington Park

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK–MAY 18, 2026– In a featured allowance race that included multiple stakes-caliber horses, it was the 14-1 longshot Jolie Laide that prevailed Sunday night at Remington Park

This field included a horse that raced in the $3 million All American Futurity two years ago and another that was coming in from Los Alamitos in California where he raced in predominantly Grade 1 stakes races.
