ALEXANDRIA, LA–APRIL 15, 2026––Last month, the Louisiana Quarter Horse Breeders Association (LQHBA) announced that Misty Coats has been named executive director of the state-bred association.
Coats is the first female executive director of LQHBA and its 1,700 members. She served as assistant executive director for the past two years working with Bruce Salard, who began his tenure in 2019.
