The Mexico QH Breeders Association Announces 2025 Champions at the Hipódromo De Las Américas

By Leann Noguera, StallioneSearch

MEXICO CITY, MEX–FEBRUARY 14, 2026–The Mexico QH Breeders Association (ACCCCM) has officially announced its 2025 Champions who competed at the Hipódromo de las Américas.

While every horse proved deserving of championship honors, one name clearly rose above the rest. Rey De Manny delivered a season that will be remembered as one of the most dominant in modern Mexican Quarter Horse racing history.

Bred in Mexico by Abelardo Gallegos, the two-year-old star put together a perfect campaign and became the first-ever Mexican Triple Crown winner. Rey De Manny completed a clean sweep of the series, winning the México Futurity, the Garañones Futurity, and sealing it in the Subasta Selecta Futurity (RG2), all under jockey Nestor Duran at Hipódromo de las Américas.

The son of leading Mexican sire Krash Cartel is out of the Jesse James Jr mare Jess Blazin Queen. A $43,243 graduate of the Subasta Selecta Sale, he is a full brother to 2024 México Futurity winner Kin Krash, also campaigned by his owner Cuadra San Martín.

Rey De Manny’s undefeated season earned him multiple titles, including Mexican AQHA Champion, Mexican Triple Crown Winner, Mexican Champion Two-Year-Old Gelding, Mexico Horse of the Year, and AQHA Mexican Champion.

While Rey De Manny swept the industry’s premier futurities, he was far from the only standout in the division. Mexican Champion Two-Year-Old Colt Mr Do Chicks added depth with a Consolation Futurity Garañones victory. At the same time, Mexican Champion Two-Year-Old Filly DK Misty Cartel consistently faced the toughest company, finishing second in both the México Futurity (RG3) and Mexico Breeders Futurity and third in the Subasta Selecta Futurity (RG2).

The strength of the program extended well beyond the freshman class. Mexican Champion Three-Year-Old Gelding CC Regal Jack captured the Clásico Salvador Oñate, and Mexican Champion Three-Year-Old Filly CCB Dressed In Black delivered a strong campaign highlighted by a victory in the Clásico Javier Rosique Palavicini.

Among older runners, Mexican Champion Aged Mare Day Cartel continued her steady consistency against stakes company, while Mexican Champion Aged Horse BR Chivali Nazareno combined durability and brilliance, winning the Clásico José Merced Gómez Orozco and setting new track records at both 220 and 300 yards.

Other stakes winners who earned champion titles include Pacific Surfliner, Dark Water Bay, RR One Quick Lew, DK Crystal Favorite, and The Singaporean.

Additional performers who competed at the highest level throughout the season and still secured championship honors despite not winning a stakes race include CCB Rich Ranch Boy, SE Viejo Hero, Bombay Temptress, and Hes Genuine.

Together, the 2025 champions reflect a competitive, internationally influenced racing program that continues to elevate the profile of Quarter Horse racing in Mexico.
