Grade 2 Sire Ethics Aside Relocated to Dunn Ranch in Oklahoma

WYNNEWOOD, OK—NOVEMBER 8, 2018—Multiple stakes winner and grade 2 sire Ethics Aside SI 106 has been relocated from Florida to Dunn Ranch near Wynnewood, Oklahoma for the 2019 breeding season. His fee has been set at $1,250.

Owned by Double A Ranch, Inc., Ethics Aside is the sire of Grade 2 winner Premier Ethics, who won the Junos Request Stakes(G2) at Remington Park, the Sunshine State Derby in Hialeah Park and was 4th in the 2015 Grade 1 All American Derby at Ruidoso Downs.

"We are very excited about Ethics Aside coming to Dunn Ranch," said farm owner Matt Dunn. "We are happy Double A has chosen to enter the lucrative Oklahoma breeding market. The state-bred program has a lot to offer breeders and Ethics Aside will enhance their choices when it comes time to book their mares."

Premier Ethics (#8) defeating Bodacious Eagle and Viento Negro to qualify to the 2015 Grade 1 All American Derby at Ruidoso Downs. The filly won seven consecutive races going into the $2.3 million dollar final.

From limited number of starters, Ethics Aside has sired three stakes horses (33%) with average earnings per starter of nearly $47,000. His top performers include Premier Ethics SI 98 (8 wins to 4, $308,543 1Junos Request S.-G2, Sunshine State Derby [R] , etc.), Shes A Tourist SI 101 (2 wins to 5, $53,373 2nd Sunshine State Derby [R] , etc.), La Doncella Comminup SI 90 (winner, $35,857 3rd Sunshine State Derby [R], etc.), Aside The Fire SI 92 (winner, $22,870), etc.

Ethics Aside was bred in Texas by the late American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame member Joe Kirk Fulton. A son of leading sire and "sire of sires" Mr Jess Perry, Ethics Aside is out of the Grade 1 winning Victory Dash mare Daring Difference.

The sorrel stallion won nor placed in 12 races while earning $99,686. He won the Prairie Meadows Championship Challenge and Roble Rojo Bonus Challenge Stakes and was third in the Queen City Dash. He was a finalist in the Grade 1 AQHA Challenge Championship, For Erie Championship Challenge(G3), Delta Championship Challenge(G3), Indiana Downs Classic, Bradford Stakes, Banyan Tree Stakes, Signature Stakes and Don Boyd Memorial Handicap.

Champion Mr Jess Perry SI 113 has sired 143 stakes winners, 9 champions, earners of $54.6 million including leading sires world champion Apollitical Jess SI 107 ($1,399,831) and champion One Famous Eagle SI 101 ($1,387,453), Grade 1 winner Feature Mr Jess SI 101 ($539,327), etc.

Ethics Aside's dam, Daring Difference SI 102 ($329,000) won the Grade 1 Heritage Place Futurity, was second in the Grade 1 Remington Park Futurity and a finalist in the Grade 1 All American Futurity. She is the dam of 12 winners, 7 black type including multiple stakes winner Ethics Aside SI 106 (see above), stakes winner and G1-finalist Sweet Oblivion SI 110 ($55,704), G3-placed Splendifferous SI 104 ($73,321), stakes-placed Pure Flattery SI 91 ($38,834), stakes-placed Defining Difference SI 102 ($21,789), stakes-placed Differently SI 97 ($17,672) and stakes-placed Daring Diversion SI 98 ($15,474.
