Rocket Seventeen Retires, Set to Begin Stud Duty at Double LL Farms in New Mexico

BOSQUE, NM–JANUARY 10, 2024–Rocket Seventeen SI 104, a grade 1 qualifier and stakes-placed son of leading sire Apollitical Jess, has been retired and will begin stud duty at Double LL Farms in Bosque, New Mexico this year.  His fee has been set at $2,500 with consideration.

A homebred owned-and-raced by The Quarter Company, LLC, Rocket Seventeen won or placed eight races and earned $87,577.  He was third in Azure Three Stakes and a finalist in the Los Alamitos Two Million Futurity(G1), El Primero Del Ano Derby(G2), Kaweah Bar Handicap(G3) and Independence Day Handicap(G3).

He defeated such horses as Bomb Cyclone ($1,446,063), Cattail Cove ($662,932), Sippin Hayden ($322,801), etc.
