SEGUIN TX—OCTOBER 16, 2023—Haddad Ranch announced today they have purchased an intrest in Kj Mucho Macho Man SI 96, runner-up in the Grade 1 $393,813 Texas Classic Derby, and he will stand the 2024 season at their facility in Seguin, Texas. His fee has been set at $3,500.

"We are excited this son of leading sire Apollitical Jess has come to Texas for the coming breeding season," Jorge Haddad said. "We want to thank LACER for the outstanding job they've done with Kj Mucho Macho Man.  He bred more over 150 mares last year including the dam of all-time leading money earner Kj Desperado."

Kj Mucho Macho Man's first sale-crop in 2023 averaged $11,250. The high-seller, Ooh Yeah out of Stars In My Eyes by Mr Eye Opener, sold for $45,000 at the Ruidoso New Mexico-Bred Sale.

Hist first crop will race in 2024.

Kj Mucho Macho Man won or placed in 14 of 19 career starts, earning $293,474. He was second in the Texas Classic Derby(G1) and Texas Classic Juvenile and third in the West Texas Futurity(G2) and Ruidoso Invitational. He was also a finalist in the All American Derby(G1), Rainbow QH Derby(G1), All American QH Gold Cup(G1) and Z Wayne Griffin Directors Handicap.
