2018 #1 Percentage Sire of Winners Lil Kool Wagon Relocated to Oklahoma

LEXINGTON, OK—DECEMBER 15, 2018—Owner Michael Pohl announced today his #1 sire of winners by percentage in 2018, Lil Kool Wagon SI 95, will stand the 2019 season at Charette-Hill Racing in Lexington, Oklahoma. The fee has been set at $500 for shipped semen only.

According to an article published in the December 2018 issue of The Q-Racing Journal Lil Kool Wagon has a stunning 92% sire-of-winners rate this year and is an 87% percent strike rate from three crops to race. In 2018 he has sired 92.3% winners to take the top spot above such sires Apollitical Jess, One Famous Eagle, Corona Cartel and Mr Jess Perry.

Winning is in the son of Pyc Paint Your Wagon's genes, as his second dam is Kool Kue Baby SI 118 (see below), who continues her reigns the racehorse with the most stakes victories in history, at 25 (she won 34 of 64 lifetime races).

Through October 19, Lil Kool Wagon also ranks as the #4 2018 leading sire by "Average Earnings Index (AEI)" with an index of 2.88, just behind 2018 leading sire of money earners Apollitical Jess.

The AEI is the indication of the earnings of the runners produced out of mares sired by the stallions, compared to the average earnings in the same year. The average earnings of all runners in a given year is defined at 1.00 and is calculated from all race starters.

By comparison for 2018 all-time leading sire First Down Dash has a 2018 AEI of 1.80, leading sire Heza Fast Dash 1.85 and leading sire One Famous Eagle 1.74 .

From only 13 starters in 2018, Lil Kool Wagon is the #8 Leading Third-Crop Sire of Money Earners with $308,956, 2 stakes winners and 4 stakes-placed.

In three crops to reach the track Lil Kool Wagon has sired 13 winners (81%), 9 black type (56%), earners of $704,215 and average earnings per starter of more than $44,000 to date.
