Three-time Grade 1 winner KJ Desparado returns after winning Saturday's $850,000 Ruidoso QH Derby(G1) at Ruidoso Downs.

On this episode, StallioneSearch was on hand to capture the running of the 2022 edition of the Grade 1 $850,000 Ruidoso QH Derby at Ruidoso Downs, New Mexico. 

Ten 3-year-olds contested the 400-yard event with a field that included Ruben Mares and John and Wanda Lee's All American Futurity(G1) winner KJ Desparado who handily scored his third Grade 1 career win.

The $280,990 Ruidoso QH Derby winner's purse boosted the son of leading sire Apollitical Jess' lifetime earnings total nearly $2.4 million.
