OJD Tempt Me Not and jockey Nestor Duran win the $68,100 Idaho Cup Futurity Finals at Pocatello Downs on May 25.

POCATELLO, ID–MAY 25, 2026–OJD Tempt Me Not and jockey Nestor Duran broke sharply from the gate and never looked back in the $68,100 Idaho Cup Futurity Finals at Pocatello Downs on Sunday, covering the 300 yards in :15.526 seconds for a 99 speed index.

A homebred for Karla and Oscar Diaz, the chestnut gelding is trained by Javier Fuentes. OJD Tempt Me Not is sired by champion sire Tempting Dash and out of the Favorite Cartel mare OJD One Favorite JJ.

Remaining undefeated in two starts, the gelding improved his earnings to $28,140 after collecting the $27,240 winner’s share of the purse.

CGR Winnr Wonderland and jockey Eric Ayala finished second after a strong late rally. Bred and owned by CGR Racing LLC and trained by Jarrett Mills, the filly entered the finals as the second-fastest qualifier from the May 2 trials.

She is sired by Cyber Monday and out of the winning Ivory James mare Wonderland. CGR Winnr Wonderland has now finished second in both career starts and increased her earnings to $13,995 after posting a 92 speed index with a time of :15.718 seconds.

Tell The Truth and jockey Jose Olivo completed the trifecta for breeder and owner Larry Chapple and trainer Kyle Dahlke.

The gelding is by Tell Cartel and out of the Special Leader mare Special Truth. Tell The Truth now has two third-place finishes from as many starts with earnings of $7,035 after covering the distance in :15.772 seconds for a 90 speed index.

Delta Flight 3849 finished fourth and was followed by OJD Shez All Freight, Mound Valley Cowgirl, Cartels Panhandle, Mercedes Way, Hot Britches, and Dozer Cartel. The race was contested over a fast track under clear skies with a five mile-per-hour crosswind.
