DALLAS, TX—MARCH 26, 2023—A recent ruling filed by the Arizona Horse Racing Commission for a 2024 Stakes race that required a disqualification due to a medication positive.
AV TORNADOE WARNING has been disqualified from 1st place in the Desert Classic Stakes race held on February 15, 2024, due to a medication violation for Theophylline and Guaifenesin, Class 3/B and 4/C substances. Angel Valenzuela was the trainer.
Higher Heat, a son of Heat Warning racing for owner/breeders Ralph and Carolyn Fales, was moved for first. Matthew Fales trains and Cerapio Figueroa rode the Arizona homebred out of Loves What Counts by Count Corona.
You Cant Drive 95 and Freddy Fender were moved to second and third respectively. Fervents Spirit, Corona Perrys Bar, First Prize Spirit and Av Tornadoe Warning completed the official order-of-finish.
