GRAND PRAIRIE, TX–MARCH 8, 2024–Nominations for the $85,000-est. Grade 1 Texas Hero Futurity, for 2-year-old Texas-Bred Paint and Appaloosa foals of 2022, close Wednesday, May 1.

Trials for the $50,000-added 400 yard Grade 1 event will be contested October 25 and the final will runback on November 15, 2024. This race was formerly the Lone Star Futurity.

In addition a $20,000 Texas Hero Juvenile was also be contested November 15 for preferred trial starters by fastest trial times not qualifying.

An original nomination payment of $300 must be made on or before May 1, 2024.
