A medication violation records updates have been made on Equibase for a stakes race held in Texas.

DALLAS, TX—MARCH 4, 2023—A recent ruling filed by the Texas Racing Commission for a 2023 Stakes race that required a disqualification due to a medication positive.

DAKOTA GURL has been disqualified from 2nd place in the La Villita stakes race held on September 1, 2023, due to a medication violation for Albuterol, a Class 3/A substance.  Jorge Valenzuela was the trainer.

Suzie Que, a daughter to Apollitical Blood owned by Carlos Ponce was move to second and Samson Bac Traffic, a filly by Ss Samson, was moved to third.

The official order of finish for the La Villita Stakes is Lipstick Promise., Suzie Que, Samson Bac Traffic, Five Bar Willie, Crimson Cash, Formula Won, Marys Corazoncito, Coronas Margarita and Dakota Girl.
