A medication violation records updates have been made on Equibase for a stakes race held in New Mexico.

DALLAS, TX—FEBRUARY 28, 2023—A recent ruling filed by the New Mexico Racing Commission for 2023 Stakes races that required a disqualification due to a medication positive.

ALAMO LAKE has been disqualified from 3rd place in the Grade 1 Zia Park Championship Invitational race held on December 17, 2023 due to a medication violation for Flunixin, a Class 4/C substance. Armando Alamos was the trainer.

Onthrocks, a son of champion A Revenant from the Stoli mare Stol A Bunny, has been moved to third. Wesley Giles trains the black gelding for owner/breeder Ware Racing & Ranching LLC.

Completing the official order of finish were Famous Chief, One Fabulous Boy, Sammys Fishinchips, Jesstice For All, Jess The Leader and Alamo Lake.

Equibase has received the rulings and updated their records.
