Favorite Cartel Son Industrious To RGV Equine Services For 2024

MERCEDES, TX–FEBRUARY 27, 2024–Industrious SI 100, a Grade 2 son of leading sire Favorite Cartel, is standing the 2024 breeding season at RGV Equine Services Rio Rico Ranch in Mercedes, Texas. His fee has been set at $2,000 with consideration to stakes winners, stakes producers and multiple mares.

Industrious
is the only Texas accredited son of Favorite Cartel standing in Texas other than champion Cyber Attack who is booked full for 2024. 

Owned by Industrious Partners LLC, Industrious won or placed in six races and earned $57,523. He was a finalist in the Mighty Deck Three Stakes(G2) and Bob Moore Memorial Stales(G2).

From only three starters Industrious has sired two winners including Shes Opening Cash SI 86 (winner at 2, 2023, $11,495), Queen Favorite SI 88 (winner at 2, 2023 $8,225) and Industrious Okie SI 84 (placed to 3, 2024 $2,925).

Industrious is by leading sire Favorite Cartel SI 104, a Grade1 winner of $607,669. From 10 crops to race he is among the leading sires each year with 114 stakes winners, 7 champions, 67 winners and earners of more than $44.5 million.

Favorite Cartel's top performers include Trane Station V SI 97(champion, at 2, 2023, $1,754,152, Los Alamitos 2 Million Futurity-G1, etc.), Cyber Attack SI 101 (champion 3 times, to 3, 2023, $1,721,346, Los Alamitos Two Million Futurity-G1, etc.), Cartel Jess Rockin SI 96 (champion, $849,101, Los Alamitos 2 Million Futurity-G1, etc.), Tell Cartel SI 105 (champion twice, $796,386, Los Alamitos Super Derby-G1, etc.), etc.

Industrious' dam is the Grade 2 Oklahoma Derby winner Duck Mea Running SI 110 ($213,229) by Tour de Kas. She is set a 350 yard track record at Fair Meadows in :17.348 seconds.

Duck Me Running is the dam of 19 ROM, 14 winners, 3 black type including Grade 3 winner and track record setter Duck Dash N Go SI 112 ($163,749), stakes winner Makit Snappi SI 105 ($88,970), and stakes placed Mea Dominator SI 89, etc.  She is also the granddam of stakes winner One Sweet Duck SI 91 ($82,058).

The second dam Delta Duck SI 103 ($25,401), by Merganser, set a 330 yard track record at Retama Park in :16.990 seconds and equaled the Prairie Meadows 300 yard record of :15.470 seconds. She is the dam of 8 winners,3 black type including Grade 2 winner Duck Me Running SI 110 (see above), Grade 3 winner Lawanda Fay SI 103 ($64,509), G3-placed Tour de Quack SI 102 ($47,224), etc.
