Multiple Stakes Sire Fast Prize Cartel Dies

TEMECULA, CA–AUGUST 4, 2023–EG High Desert Farms reported today their 12-year-old multiple graded stakes sire Fast Prize Cartel has died.

Bred in Oklahoma by Weetona Stanley, from limited starters in seven crops to race Fast Prize Cartel has sired 39 winners, 8 black type (10%), earners of more than $1.3 million with average earnings over $16,600. He was a leading first and second crop sire.

Last Saturday (July 28) the Fast Prize Cartel filly Letty Cartel won the $40,000 California Breeders' Matron Stakes(RG3) during the California Breeders' Night at Los Alamitos Race Course.
