WHEELOCK, TX—FEBRUARY 14, 2022—Mary Lynn Thompson's Grade 2 winner This Is An Eagle SI 103 has been enrolled as a "member stallion" on StallioneSearch.com.

The son of leading sire One Famous Eagle stands for a 2022 fee of $1,000 at Granada Farms in Wheelock, Texas. His first crop will make their first official starts next month.

Training races for 2-year-olds Quarter Horses started last week and the young sire has already shown very impressive results.

On February 9th at Remington Park Teller Ima Eagle, by This Is An Eagle, posted the fastest training time of the day from the 11-race card.

Trainer Sammy Valdivia set out the colt from the Teller Cartel mare Teller Baja, for owners Guerra Racing. Under jockey Cody Wainscott Teller Ima Eagle clocked :13.55 seconds into a 12 mph headwind, the fastest from 81 starters.

On February 8th This Is An Eagle got his first unofficial winner when Filly Gaga won her training race at Retama Park. From 54 starters the $9,700 TQHA Sale graduate posted the 14th fastest time of :14.12 seconds for 250 yards. Jose Camacho saddled the filly out of Papa Larrys Girl by Royal Quick Dash for owner Ernesto Chavira.

At the track, This Is An Eagle raced two years wining or placing eight of 12 career starts. He earned $316,350 while winning the Grade 2 Sam Houston Futurity and third in the Texas Classic Futurity(G1). He was also a finalist in the Sam Houston Derby(G3) and Evangeline Downs Futurity.
