WYNNEWOOD, OK—AUGUST 25, 2016—C Hangin C Performance Horses announced today that Buddy Albin's stakes-placed Little Pyc will stand the 2017 season at their farm near Wynnewood.

The double-registered AQHA/APHA son of leading sire Pyc Paint Your Wagon will continue to stand for a fee of $850.

Little Pyc won or placed in five of 13 starts, earning $40,285. He was third in the $133,525 Northlands Futurity at Canterbury Park and was a finalist in the $100,000 Remington Park Juvenile Invitational and $52,000 Canterbury Park Derby.

His first crop will be yearlings in 2017.

Little Pyc's sire Pyc Paint Your Wagon, who is currently the #1 leading sire of 2016 money earners, has been among the leading sires of money earners each year and is the sire of 84 stakes winners and earners of $24.1 million from only seven crops to race.

Little Pyc's dam is the APHA Champion Aged Mare, Mini Melt SI 93 ($36,507), a finalist in the Grade 1 Olympia Joe Handicap. A daughter of First To Flash, she is also the dam of winner Ba Little Mini ($14,994), a full sibling to Little Pyc.

Mini Melt's sire First To Flash is also the sire of multiple stakes sire First Moonflash, who sired both an All American Futurity(G1) winner and All American Derby(G1) winner in his first crop to race.

The second dam is a half-sister to Grade 1 Ruidoso Futurity winner Meltdown SI 98 ($247,855) and the third dam is a half-sister to Lafayette Futurity winner Alapass SI 101 ($110,385), etc. This is also the family of G3-placed Madam Cartel SI 95 ($23,214), stakes-placed Traffic Reporter SI 92 ($15,437), My Cold Corona SI 97, etc.
