Racetrack Television Network Announces Q-Racing Video Enhancements

LAS VEGAS, NV—OCTOBER 19, 2016—Racetrack Television Network ("RTN") announced its latest residential distribution offering for horse racing simulcasts using Roku Streaming Media Players. Starting October 10th, for no additional fee, current Q-Racing Video subscribers are eligible to link one Roku Streaming Media Player to their Online / Mobile Streaming subscription.

Subscribers of Q-Racing Video can choose from dozens of quarter horse simulcasts. Q-Racing Video brings you every race, every simulcast, every screen, every day. As North American racetracks make the investment in high definition ("HD") television production, Q-Racing Video can now distribute these higher quality simulcasts directly to consumers in their home or on the go by way of two distinct service offerings:

  • Online / Mobile Package – Subscribers of Q-Racing Video will be able to watch dozens of simulcasts that are currently available. Subscribers can watch on their computers, tablets or smartphones and now on their TVs through a Roku device.
  • ROKU – Q-Racing Video’s newest service offering uses Roku Streaming Media Players to con-nect Q-Racing Video’s simulcasts directly to your HD television using the Internet. Owners of Roku Streaming Media Players will now be able to subscribe to Q-Racing Video’s Online / Mobile Package and will receive all the full-card, uninterrupted simulcasts that are available from racetracks.

"We surveyed horse racing fans and the overwhelming majority want higher quality video. This new service offering demonstrates that we listen and build solutions to deliver high quality video to our customers on every screen," said Drew Shubeck Vice President of RTN.

Consumers are purchasing streaming media players at an amazing rate. Over 36% of U. S. broadband households have at least one streaming media player. "We are committed to delivering extremely reliable / cost effective solutions for the distribution of horse racing simulcasts. Racing fans around the world need to be able to watch horse racing simul-casts on as many devices as possible." said Todd Roberts President of RTN.
