Q-RACING JOURNAL—JUNE 24, 2015—Unbeaten filly Walk Thru Crystal moved up five places to No. 1 this week in the latest AQHA Racing-Horseplayernow.com National Poll for 2-year-olds. The season's first major, two-time futurity final winner made the leap following Sunday's victory in the $1 million Ed Burke Million Futurity (G1) at Los Alamitos. Her impressive, early season resume also includes a score in the Kindergarten Futurity (G2).

Walk Thru Crystal overtook Heritage Place Futurity (G1) champ BV Midnite Express for the top spot among the nation's juveniles. Meanwhile, Docs Best Card, fastest qualifier and runner-up in the Ed Burke, debuted in the rankings this week at No. 9.

As for the older horses, this week's rankings continue to be led by near-unanimous top choice Dashin Brown Streak. The only newcomer to the Top 10 is Quirky at No. 9, who scored her first start since winning January’s Charger Bar Handicap (G2) when capturing Saturday’s return bid in the $25,000 Ivan Ashment Handicap for fillies and mares at Los Alamitos. She is riding a three-race win streak, as she also won the Southern California Derby (G1) in late December.
