More Summer Sale Graduate Highlight Remington Park Schooling Races on Wednesday

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK—FEBRUARY 27, 2017—Schooling races continue Wednesday at Remington Park with eight of nine races scheduled for 2-year-old American Quarter Horse, Paints and Appaloosas.

First post is set for 11:00 a.m. (CST) and all races will be contested over 250 yards. The public is invited to attend.

A number of last year's high-dollar summer sale yearlings will be making their debut on Wednesday.

In the second race trainer Jason Olmstead will saddle First Of 15, a $48,000 Heritage Place Yearling Sale graduate. Owner Dick Tobin paid $48,000 for the daughter of leading sire Apollitical Jess from the Corona Cartel mare Tinys Corona Queen. First Of 15 is a sister to G2-placed winner Rattle N Battle ($117,979 to 5, 2017).

In Race 4, Omstead has Agent Carter, a sister to two Grade 1 winners. Tom Scheckel paid $33,000 at the Ruidoso Select Sale for the Carters Cartel half-sister to 2016 Los Alamitos Million Futurity (G1) winner Lotta Blues Man ($875,763), and multiple G1 winner Tres Friends ($921,632). This filly's dam Lotta Love For Robyn earned an "AQHA Dam of Distinction" Award earlier this year. The daughter of First Down Dash has produced only two foals to race.

Trainer Eddie D. Willis will saddle $46,000 Heritage Place Yearling Sale graduate Lady Eagle 123 for owner Larry Rice in Race 6. The daughter of leading sire One Famous Eagle is a half-sister to world champion Cold Cash 123 ($1,409,781).

In the final race (9), Jason Olmstead will saddle Bobby Elvis, a $40,000 Ruidoso Select Sale graduate for owners Tom Maher and Summer Run Inc. The son of Valiant Hero is out of a Feature Mr Jess half-sister to stakes winners Baby La Jolla ($100,388) and Oak Canyon ($95,742). Horsemen and women who cannot attend the schooling races may go to www.oqhra.com and watch the races under the "Racing-Training Races" tab. A replay of the race should be available to view within 3-5 minutes following each training race.

This should be available to users on their desktop, laptop or mobile applications. OQHRA officials said it may take a few minutes longer for the first race of the day to upload, but once the link has been established they will roll up after each race.

Training results will be posted on StallioneSearch.com and the OQHRA website as soon as they become available Wednesday afternoon.
