The stakes winning track record setting son of multiple stakes sire Ivory James is owned by Marguerita Melendez and Hugo Barron Sierra.

Flare For Ivory won or placed in nine races and earned $91,959. He won the Arapahoe Park Sprint Bonus Challenge, Dash For Speed Handicap and was a finalist in the Heritage Place Derby(G2), West Texas Maturity(G2), Altoona Derby, Ruidoso Juvenile and West Texas Juvenile.

In the Dash For Speed Stakes May 28, 2017, he set a new Arapahoe Park track record by completing 300 yards in :15.432 seconds. In his next race, the Arapahoe Park Sprint Bonus Challenge he broke his own 300 yard track record August 13, 2017, by posting another :15.420 clocking .
