Grade 2 Winner Aint He Tempting Retired; To Stand at Dunn Ranch In 2024

WYNNEWOOD, OK–DECEMBER 20, 2023–Dunn Ranch announced today their Grade 2 multiple stakes winner Aint He Tempting SI 92 has been retired and will stand the 2024 season at their facility in Wynnewood, Oklahoma. His fee has been set at $2,500.

The son of leading sire Tempting Dash won his last three starts including the Grade 2 $162,700 Southern California Derby last Sunday at Los Alamitos Race Course. In 13 outs he won or placed nine times while earning $262,419.

Aint He Tempting also won the Cerritos Handicap, was second in the Grade 2 Ed Burke Million Futurity and a finalist in the Rainbow Invitational Stakes and Dillingham Handicap.  He defeated such horses as Grade 1 winner Chasing AJ ($907,000), Grade 3 winner Shakers No Secret ($243,300), etc.

His sire, champion Tempting Dash SI 112 was an undefeated Grade 1 stakes winner of $673,970. From 11 crops to race Tempting Dash has sired 365 winners, 38 stakes winners 1 champion including Kiss My Hocks SI 109 (champion-twice, $1,199,385, Rainbow Derby-G1, etc.), Aint She Tempting SI 97 ($727,427, Oklahoma Futurity-G2, etc.), Hotsempting SI 99 ($682,793, Ruidoso Quarter Horse Derby-G1, etc.), Lovethewayyoulie SI 96 ($456,472, Heritage Place Futurity-G1, etc.), Getthere Fast-QH SI 106 (to 3, 2023, $441,919, James Isaac Hobbs S.-G2, etc.), etc.

Aint He Tempting dam, Preslee The First SI 94 by Corona Cartel is the dam of 7 ROM, 5 winners two black type including Oklahoma Futurity(G1) and Golden State Derby(G2)  winner Aint She Tempting SI 97 ($727,427, a full sibling to Aint He Tempting), Grade 2 winner Aint He Tempting SI 92 (see above), All American Futurity finalist Press Is My Hero SI 98 ($141,932), etc.
