Suspicious Interest From The Family of two-time Champion Imperial Eagle Stands In New Mexico

HONDO, NM–OCTOBER 3, 2023–Suspicious Interest, an unraced son of multiple stakes sire Separate Interest, will stand the 2024 season at La Feliz Montana Ranch in Hondo, New Mexico.  His fee has been set at $1,500.

Owned by La Feliz Montana Ranch, Suspicious Interest was a $57,000 Los Alamitos Equine Sale graduate in 2018. He was bred by AQHA Champion Breeder Steve D. Burns, DVM. 

Five of six yearlings offered by Suspicious Interest have sold at auction this summer for gross receipts of $95,000 and an average of $15,833. Suspicous Jess, out of Lovely Lily Rose, sold at the 2023 Ruidoso New Mexico Bred Sale for $30,000. His first crop will race in 2024. 

Suspicious Interest sire Seperate Interest SI 98 is a Grade 3 stakes winner of $486,761 and a brother to two-time champion Inseperable. In only 5 crops of racing age, Seperate Interest has sired 23 stakes winners, 167 winners and earners of  over $5.2 million.
