OKLAHOMA CITY, OK—MARCH 16, 2024—Multiple graded stakes winner Alliekat Dynasty extended her win streak to six straight on Saturday when she surged to a neck victory in the Grade 2 $58,000 Decketta Stakes at Remington Park.

Ridden by jockey Roman Cruz Alliekat Dynasty defeated posttime favorite Pops First Lady making her 3-year-old debut against older mares for the first time. She completed the 350 yards in :17.429 seconds, a 96 speed index.

She broke good and I didn’t have to ask her (to run) much," Cruz said. "When it came time to ask her, she gave me everything. Just a great mare."

Trainer Jesus Ruben Ruiz saddled the daughter of four-time world champion sire FDD Dynasty to her third stakes victory for owner Arrowhead Racing. That ownership also includes Gary Hensley, who was beaming in the winner’s circle after the race.

The Oklahoma-bred filly started her winning spree at Remington Park last year when broke her maiden in her second start on April 2.

Since then she won a trial for the Heritage Place Futurity(G1), the FL Lady Bug Stakes(RG3), and the OQHRA Mystery Futurity(RG2) trial and final. The Decketta winner purse valued at $34,530 boosted her bankroll to $184,221.  Jahree Standridge bred the sorrel filly from the Apollitical Jess mare Pollitical Scorpion.

"We bought her from a friend and she was bred by Jahree Standridge (in Oklahoma), who is like a grandmother to us," said Hensley. "This filly is such a sweetheart; does everything to win every time."

Runner-up Pops First Lady, a multiple graded stakes winning daughter of leading sire Apollitical Jess, earned $9,910 for second. Trainer Juan Diaz, Jr. named jockey Manuel Gutierrez to ride the 6-year-old for owner Ruse Ranch, LLC. Gary Kurz and Double M Racing bred the mare in Texas from the Shazoom mare Shazooms Pop Pop.
