Relentless Fantasy, under jockey Edwin Escobedo, drives to a 4-1/4 length win while setting the fastest time for the $363,702 Black Gold Fillies Futurity Championship on Sunday at Will Rogers Downs.

CLAREMORE, OK–NOVEMBER 5, 2023–Relentless Fantsy, a stakes-placed daughter of leading sire Hes Relentless, dominated eight trials for the $363,702 Black Gold Fillies Futurity Championship on Sunday when she rolled to a 4-1/4 length victory and the fastest qualifying time.

The 10 fastest qualifiers will return to Will Rogers Downs on Sunday, November 19th to vie for a winner's purse valued at $145,481going 400 yards.  

Ridden by jockey Edwin Escobedo, Relentless Fantsy completed the task in :20.017 seconds, equaling a 91 speed index into a 14 mph crosswind. Leading trainer Jason Olmstead conditions the $40,000 Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale graduate for owner History Farms LLC.

Bred in Louisiana by Grant Farms LLC, from the Splash Bac mare Fantsy Pants, Relentless Fantsy has won two of six starts this year and was third in the Valley Junction Juvenile Stakes in her last start September 29 at Prairie Meadows. She has earned $18,619.

In just her third career start, Aj Lady Tres posted a 1-1/2 length win in the final trial under jockey Bryan Candanosa to post the second fastest clocking of :20.068 seconds, a 90 speed index into a 14 mph crosswind.

Trainer Clinton Crawford conditions the Oklahoma-bred daughter of leading sire Apollitical Jess for owner Raymond Merrill. Bred by El Cabresto, Inc., from the Tres Seis mare Senorita Tres, Aj Lady Tres is a $57,000 Heritage Place Yearling Sale graduate.

Aj Lady Tres broke her maiden at Ruidoso Downs in July and was second in her last start, an allowance at Will Rogers September 18. She has banked $18,068.

Olmstead lead all trainers with four qualifiers. John Stinebaugh was the only other trainer with multiple finalist, getting two.

Apollitical Jess was the leading sire with three qualifiers, Hes Relentless and One Famous Eagle each got two into the final.
