In this second digital short, the spotlight turns inside the barn of two-time Grade 1 winner Stanley Cartel, one of the most dominant performers of the season.

Trainer Luke Lindsey welcomed Stanley Cartel to his barn alongside Scoops Dynasty ahead of the weekend’s marquee event. Both runners are multiple Grade 1 winners in 2025, with Weetona Stanley and Dunn Ranch’s Stanley Cartel capturing victories in the Robert L. Boniface Los Alamitos Invitational Championship and the Vessels Maturity.

Stanley Cartel has been nothing short of exceptional on the racetrack. Powerful and unflinching, he has won nine of 11 career starts, including four stakes victories, making him the only stallion with two Grade 1 wins in 2025.

His résumé is decisive: wins in the Robert L. Boniface Los Alamitos Invitational Championship (G1), Vessels Maturity (G1), Southern California Derby (G2), and the Sgt Pepper Feature Handicap. In his only two defeats, he finished second in the Kaweah Bar Handicap (G3) and successfully qualified for the Los Alamitos Super Derby (G1).

Speed remains his defining trait. On October 11, 2025, Stanley Cartel posted the fastest 440-yard time of the year at Los Alamitos, stopping the clock in 21.458 seconds. Earlier in his career, he also recorded the fastest 300-yard time of 2024 on May 4.

Stanley Cartel is the only two-time Grade 1 winner this year entering stud for the 2026 season. He will stand at Dunn Ranch in Wynnewood, Oklahoma, positioning him as one of the most accomplished new sires to enter the breeding shed.
