GRAND PRAIRIE, TX–SEPTEMBER 30, 2025—Lone Star Park is set to host a blockbuster evening of Quarter Horse racing this Saturday, headlined by the prestigious Dash For Cash Finales.

The night features two of the most competitive Grade 2 events on the fall calendar — the $156,200 Dash For Cash Derby (G2) in Race 9 and the $421,500 Dash For Cash Futurity (G2) in Race 11.

Dash For Cash Futurity (G2)

The evening's headliner, the $421,500 Dash For Cash Futurity, showcases the top ten 2-year-old qualifiers from the September 13 trials over 400 yards, where juvenile stars will clash in pursuit of rich winnings and future championship consideration.

The fastest qualifier and morning-line favorite, Ivory Macho Man, dominated his trial by two lengths and brings a near-perfect resume to the gate — three wins and one second from four starts, totaling $37,254 in earnings.

A homebred for Rito Sosa Trujillo, this gelding by Kj Mucho Macho Man out of Alondra Grace (by Ivory James) is trained by Jose E. Gamez and will be ridden by Juan Pulido from post six, the same team behind Derby favorite Jessies First Card.

Second choice at 4-1, Di Kvn Waven enters off a strong trial run and boasts an impressive record that includes victories in the G2 Louisiana Downs Futurity and G2 TQHA Sires Cup Futurity, with career earnings of $259,794.

Bred in Texas by Jacobo Garza, the filly by Kvn Corona out of Waven Bye Piloto (by Mr Piloto) was a $24,000 TQHA Yearling Sale purchase for owner Refugio Alvarado. She draws post nine under Oliver E. Martinez, and her proven class makes her a significant threat.

From the outside gate comes Unleeshed, a rising star who has hit his stride since being gelded. With three straight wins and $78,000 price tag from the Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale.

The Freighttrain B gelding out of Thermonuclear Energy (by Walk Thru Fire) is bred by Bobby D. Cox and owned by Orona Racing, LLC. Trained by Angel Sanchez and ridden by Luis A. Flores-Garcia, he draws post ten and could be poised for a breakout performance.

With over $577,000 in guaranteed purses, Saturday night at Lone Star Park promises to be a must-watch for fans of Quarter Horse racing. The Dash For Cash Finales offer top-level competition and a glimpse into tomorrow’s rising stars and champions.
