SHELBYVILLE, IN–JUNE 1, 2025–The $34,000 Carter Riley Overnight Stakes at Horseshoe Indianapolis, scheduled for Tuesday, June 3, over 350 yards, brings together a competitive field of Indiana-bred Quarter Horses ages three and up.

Highlighted by three standout entrants, the race promises fireworks down the stretch. Leading the morning line at 3-1 is the promising 3-year-old Wrs Mynameisrip, followed closely by Lethal Fast Cash (4-1) and Full Boogie (9-2), each showcasing talent and back class in equal measure.

The 3-year-old Tarzanito gelding Wrs Mynameisrip out of  Wrs Hava Cricket, by Fast Prize Jordan, made headlines as a 2-year-old with four wins in six starts, including a marquee score in the Miss Roxie Little Futurity (RG3) on October 26 at Horseshoe Indianapolis.

Bred and owned by Williams Racing Stables Inc., he earned a career-best 97 speed index in that victory.

Although he has yet to start in 2025, he returns with a sharp record of 4 wins and 2 seconds from 7 career starts, with total earnings of $169,952.

All of his career starts have come on Indiana dirt, including two wins and a second from four tries at the 350-yard distance. Trained by Natasha Perez and ridden again by Diego Villamil Bocanegra, he looms large despite the seasonal layoff.

A 6-year-old veteran campaigner, Lethal Fast Cash, a son of Lethal Corona from the Ivory James mare Miss Fast Jeans, brings a wealth of experience to the lineup. Trained by Anthony Cunningham for owner William F. Collins, this gelding won three of eight starts in 2024, including a decisive victory in an open optional claiming race at Lone Star Park last November where he posted a sharp 96 speed index.

Lethal Fast Cash has proven successful at this 350-yard distance, winning three of six starts, including a head-bobbing win in the $35,400 Retama Final last July. With career earnings topping $86,000, he’s a reliable closer and figures to be flying late under regular rider Luz Martinez. He was bred in Texas by Mickey Tiner.

Rounding out the top trio is Full Boogie, a 4-year-old son of champion Tempting Dash out of Apollos Favorite by Apollo TB. The Texas-bred gelding carries the silks of LC Racing LLC and is making his first start of 2025. In 2024, he flashed brilliance, especially at Indiana Grand, where he captured the $133,000 QHRAI Derby with a gritty victory after qualifying fastest in trials two weeks prior.

He boasts four lifetime wins and a $114,260 bankroll, with his best speed index of 102 coming in that Derby win. Although unraced since last October, he has worked steadily toward this return. A clean trip and alert break would make Full Boogie a major player. Gustavo Almanza Jr. trains him and will be ridden by Erik N. Esqueda.

With youthful speed and veteran savvy, the Carter Riley Overnight Stakes sets up as a high-octane sprint.

The remainder of the field includes Ap Miss Lunas Tide (15-1), Dupont Beach (10-1), Hg Favorite Energy (6-1), After School (8-1), Famous Lollipop (30-1), Drinkinatacartelbar (15-1), Oscar Mike (10-1), El Fulano (15-1), and Jess A Candy Maker (30-1).

Post time for Race 9 is 6:15 PM EDT.
