JEROME, ID–JUNE 21, 2026–Ojd Tempt Me Not continued the flawless start to his juvenile racing career on Sunday, powering to a convincing victory in the $5,000 Denny Weigt Overnight Futurity at Jerome County Fair.
Ridden by Fernando Olague, the son of Tempting Dash broke clean and never looked back, leading the field from start to finish while defeating runner-up Sheza Poly by 3 1/2 lengths in the 330-yard contest. Ojd Tempt Me Not stopped the timer in 16.828 seconds, earning a 93 speed index against a 6 mph crosswind, just eight-thousandths of a second shy of the longstanding track record of 16.820.
Trainer Oscar Diaz owns and bred Ojd Tempt Me Not in partnership with Karla Diaz. He remains undefeated from three starts and increased his earnings to $30,740. The juvenile gelding out of Ojd One Favorite Jj, by Favorite Cartel, entered the race off a victory in the Idaho Cup Futurity.

Another neck behind in third was Bg Flying Hero, a sorrel gelding by Valiant Hero out of Cr Sugar N Spice, by Fly Jess Fly. Also racing for owner/trainer Jose Pulido, the gelding was ridden by Raul Zapien and was bred in Oklahoma by William E. Smith. He also remains winless after three starts and qualified for the race following a fourth-place finish in the Roche Equine Futurity trials.
Completing the order of finish were Bw Little Wagon in fourth, Arlenes Wish in fifth, Tarasca in sixth, and Hr Trainsamovin in seventh.
