Tempting Dash added another major weekend to his 2026 season, siring All American Futurity qualifier Tempting Lu, All American Oaks qualifier Beautiful Temptation and Governors Cup Futurity winner Ojd Tempt Me Not.

BREAUX BRIDGE–AUGUST 10, 2026–From New Mexico to Wyoming, champion sire Tempting Dash added two more Grade 1 finalists and another major stakes winner to his growing list of 2026 accomplishments over the weekend.

Tempting Lu and Beautiful Temptation earned berths in the Grade 1 All American Futurity and Grade 1 All American Oaks, respectively, while Ojd Tempt Me Not captured the $270,400 Governors Cup Futurity at Wyoming Downs.

Tempting Lu delivered one of the weekend's biggest performances when she posted the fastest qualifying time from Saturday's second day of trials for the $3 million All American Futurity-G1. Her time was the second-fastest overall, securing a spot in the September 7 final.

Ridden by Jose Luis Enriquez, Tempting Lu won the fifth trial by one-half length in 20.999. She went to the front early and held off Rainbow Juvenile Stakes winner Jess A Bad Lil Cat through the wire.

Simmons Racing bred the Texas-bred filly from stakes winner and multiple stakes producer La Mos Chingono, by Heza Fast Dash. The accomplishment marks the first All American Futurity qualifier for Arturo Ibarra, owner of AA Farms.

"We are so happy with this filly," Ibarra said. "We knew she was talented, but we were surprised by the fastest time."

A $77,000 purchase from the 2025 TQHA Yearling Sale, Tempting Lu has won two of three career starts with one second-place finish and earnings of $74,947. She was runner-up in the Grade 2 West Texas Futurity in April.

Tempting Dash added another All American-bound runner Sunday when Beautiful Temptation qualified for the $694,186 All American Oaks-G1. Luis Martinez piloted the filly to a fourth-place finish in the second-fastest trial heat of the day. She earned a 96 speed index and secured a berth in the September 6 final.

The weekend continued in Wyoming, where Ojd Tempt Me Not surged to the lead and drew clear late Sunday afternoon to capture the $270,400 Governors Cup Futurity at Wyoming Downs.

Ridden by Nestor Duran, Ojd Tempt Me Not covered 350 yards in 17.429, earning a 99 speed index. The victory was worth $124,384, and increased Ojd Tempt Me Not's career earnings to $156,324. The 2-year-old gelding has won four of five starts with one second-place finish.

The Governors Cup Futurity marked his third stakes victory of the season, a campaign that also includes a victory in the Idaho Cup Futurity. Trainer Oscar Jaime Diaz conditions Ojd Tempt Me Not for himself and co-owner Karla Diaz Gomez. The Idaho homebred is out of Ojd One Favorite Jj, by Favorite Cartel.

Tempting Dash's stakes success in 2026 extends well beyond the weekend. His other stakes winners this year include Surprise Temptation, winner of the Bob Moore Memorial; Ohana Spirit, winner of the Cox Ranch California Regional Distaff Challenge; and Shes Ec to Tempt, winner of the G.C.F.A. Dutchman Stakes.

To date, Tempting Dash has sired 476 winners, 56 stakes winners, and 57 stakes-placed runners. His progeny have earned more than $24 million, with average earnings of $31,500 per starter.

His leading graded stakes performers include Kiss My Hocks SI 109 ($1,199,385), Dashing Tres SI 104 ($1,040,765), Aint She Tempting SI 97 ($727,427), Hotsempting SI 99 ($682,793), Lovethewayyoulie SI 96 ($456,472), Getther Fast SI 106 ($441,919), and Aguila Rapida SI 104 ($439,594).

Robicheaux Ranch is managing Tempting Dash's frozen semen for the 2026 breeding season. His fee is $5,000 for ICSI only, plus a $700 booking fee.

Tempting Dash remains a Texas Accredited Stallion, and his foals will continue to be eligible for the Texas-Bred accreditation program, providing additional long-term value for breeders.
