LOVELAND, COLORADO–JANUARY 21, 2026–Saw Ranch is proud to welcome Grade 3 winner Marfilmio, who will join their roster and stand the 2026 breeding season in Loveland, Colorado. His first small test crop of two will hit the tracks this season, and his first full crop will arrive as weanlings in 2026.
The stallion’s fee is set at $2,000, with considerations available; the first 10 mares are offered at $1,500. Cooled or frozen semen will be available. Marfilmio is an accredited Colorado-bred stallion and is owned by Hugo Barron-Sierra.
Racing from ages two through six, Marfilmio compiled a record of 26 starts with eight wins, four seconds, and three thirds, earning $97,444. His record includes a victory in the Two Rivers Stakes (G3).
He was second in the North Central QHRA Futurity and the RMQHRA Championship, third in the First Down Dash Handicap (G3) and the Gopher State Derby, and a finalist in the Bob Moore Memorial (G2), Lovington Stakes (G2), Two Rivers Stakes (G3), Keokuk Stakes (G3), Canterbury Park Derby, Z. Wayne Griffin Directors Stakes, and the Prairie Meadows Championship.
Marfilmio is by Champion sire Ivory James, who has sired 639 winners with progeny earnings exceeding $26 million, led by All American Derby (G1) winner Instygator ($1,608,801).
He is a half-brother to World Champion and undefeated runner Whistle Stop Cafe ($2,335,831), Dash For Cash Futurity (G2) winner and Grade 1 finalist Inspyre ($218,220), and Sam Houston Derby (G3) winner and Grade 1 finalist So Rapido ($122,317).
Marfilmio is out of Sinuous ($105,956), who placed second in the Dash For Cash Derby (G2) and third in the Heritage Place Derby-G1. She is a world champion producing dam of 17 winners from 20 to race seven black type horses
His second dam, No Fees ($166,320), won the TQHA Sale Futurity (RG1) and has produced 17 winners and four black type horses, including leading first-year sire Hawkeye ($194,690), a stakes winner and All American Futurity (G1) finalist.
No Fees is also the dam of Zenergy ($42,326), who has produced multiple stakes winners, including AQHA Distaff Challenge Championship (G1) winner Vytaliti ($215,913), Balloon City Stakes (G2) winner and 220-yard track record setter Hallmarke ($187,529), stakes winner and Texas Hi-Point Aged Mare Zenergetic ($82,358), and Mexico stakes winner Enthusiastique ($35,259).
