TULSA, OK–JULY 18, 2026–Heritage Of Power outdueled Bv So Long in deep stretch to capture the $27,000 Cherokee Nation Stakes on July 18 at Fair Meadows.

Ridden by Ruben Castro, the gray filly races for owner Marisol Alvarado and trainer Leonardo Alcala. Bred by Sam Green, she is a $52,000 Heritage Place Yearling Sale graduate.

The daughter of champion and champion sire FDD Dynasty out of the graded stakes-winning Captain Courage mare Eye Eye Captain covered 350 yards in :17.893, earning a 90 speed index. Eye Eye Captain is a half-sister to stakes winners Smokin Past You ($231,681) and Smokin Bye You ($87,578), while the female family traces to Dams of Distinction and producers of champions including Dasha Freda, Fearless Freda, and AQHA World Champion Heza Dasha Fire.

The $15,986 winner's share of the purse increased Heritage Of Power's earnings to $63,319 while improving her record to two wins and one third from four starts. She entered the stakes off a finalist effort in the Grade 1 Remington Park Futurity.

Bv So Long finished second under Rolando Raudales for owner Jose Angel Salamanca-Solis and trainer Jose Hernandez-Martinez.

Bred by Bella Vista Farms LLC, the $30,000 Heritage Place Yearling Sale graduate is by champion Uncle D and out of the Tres Seis mare Ms Tres Seis.

She completed the 350 yards in :17.922, earning an 89 speed index.

Bv So Long is a half-sister to Grade 1 Heritage Place Futurity winner Bv Midnite Express ($769,319) and Easy Jet Stakes (RG3) winner Bv Mr Azoom ($54,780). Her female family also traces to champion Buccaneer Beach ($227,958).

She now owns a record of two wins and one second from five starts with earnings of $78,685 after a finalist effort in the Grade 1 Remington Park Futurity.

Wrs Free Spirit and jockey Aram Martinez finished third for owner-breeder Williams Racing Stables Inc. and trainer Samuel Valdivia. The daughter of Apollitical Spirit out of the Five Bar Cartel mare Wrs Five Bar Button covered the distance in :17.999, earning an 87 speed index. She now has a record of one win, one second, and one third from five starts with earnings of $19,433.

Echos Of Cowboy finished fourth and was followed by Kash Kowboyy, Jusk A Dynasty, Tony D Tiger, Royal Bloodline, and Boni Ky Envy.
