ALBUQUERQUE, NM–SEPTEMBER 1, 2025–La Feliz Montana Ranch LLC homebreds trained by Xavier Rodriguez swept the exacta, with Fdd Dreams turning back stablemate Ariatt, to capture the Grade 1 $1,080,788 All American Quarter Horse Derby at the Downs at Albuquerque on Monday.
Breaking fourth from the gates under Luis Martinez—fresh off his victory in the Oaks—Fdd Dreams gained the lead at the final stretch and stopped the clock in 21.204 seconds. The 440 yards effort earned a 97 speed index and paid $3.40 to win as the post-time favorite.
