RUIDOSO, NM—JUNE 26, 2014—Robin Glen Pedigrees announced today the 2014 Ruidoso New Mexico Bred Quarter Horse & Thoroughbred Sale catalog is now available on line.

The sale, scheduled for August 15 and 16 at the Ruidoso Horse Sale Pavilion on Joe Welch Road, will feature 238 New Mexico Bred Quarter Horse and Thoroughbred yearlings.

The top three finishers in the recently contested $356,980 Mountain Top Quarter Horse Futurity for New Mexico-bred on June 15 were from the Ruidoso Sale last summer. Winner Heza Wild Dragon sold for $15,000; runner-up Threedewoodee brought $39,000 and third place finishers was a $17,000 purchase.

Quarter Horse yearlings Hip #1 through 137 will sell Friday, August 15 and Thoroughbred yearlings Hip #138 through 238 will be offered on Saturday evening, August 17.

A third session of Quarter Horse and Thoroughbred mares will be offered on Saturday as Hips 239 thru 274. The $2.675-est. million All American Futurity(G1) and the $2.8 million All American Derby(G1) trials are scheduled the same week as the Ruidoso New Mexico-Bred sale.
