Miss Czech Impressive With Top Mark In Rocky Mountain Spring Classic QH Futurity Trials

POCATELLO, ID—MAY 14, 2017—Making her career debut in the Rocky Mountain Spring Classic QH Futurity trails today at Pocatello Downs, Miss Czech roared to a two-length win and top qualifying mark of :16.858 seconds, a 103-speed index with a 5-mph tailwind.

Ridden by Jockey Santiago Jimenez, the Idaho-bred daughter of Ragazzo races for owner/breeder and trainer Fredy Olmos. Miss Czech, out of the Corona Czech mare Czech Royal Camilla, started in the fourth of five trials contested on Sunday's race card.

Also, making her first start is the Texas-bred Pyc Paint Your Wagon colt Wagonfullofdividends owned by RTM Stables LLC and Shauna Dunn. Eddie Aceves rode the colt to a wire-to-wire 3¾ length victory in the final trial to get the second fastest time of :16.892 seconds, a 102-speed index.

Mark Hanson conditions the $25,000 TQHA Yearling Sale graduate from the Brimmerton mare Ms Athenas Dividend. Randy and Sandy Coleman is the breeder.

Pcr Mad Version destroyed the field in the first trial when she won by 3 ½ lengths under jockey Jesus Canales. The daughter of Winners Version posted the third fastest time of :16.902 seconds, a 102-speed index.

Jere Brinkerhoff saddled the gray filly to her first win in two starts for owner Greg Torgeson. Katie Torgerson bred Pcr Mad Version in Utah from the Separatist mare Classy Sassy Anna.
