PORTLAND, OR—JANUARY 19, 2019—A cast of seven will charge off the mark in Sunday's featured third race of the day, the 350 yard $12,000 added Gary Chumbley Handicap (not black type) at Portland Meadows.
Looking to own the namesake of the race is GC Harrys Game, owned by Connie Chumbley and winner of three out of his last four starts including the Far West Futurity last November.
Bred in Oregon by The Gary Chumbley Estate and trained by Scott Raley, the 3-year-old by Carters Cartel will be ridden by Robert Burney.
Opposition looms likely from Losin My Lover who won the Oregon Bred Juvenile and Willy B Gone who was a near miss in that same race.
Sunday will have a nine race program and a first post time of 12 noon Pacific. The track will also host racing on Tuesday this week as well with a 12 noon (PST) post time.
