On Friday Lone Star Park features both the $20,000 Texas Arabian Lone Star Juvenile Stakes and the third leg of the Friday Night Lights Gridiron Challenge Series. Saturday features the Grade 1, $57,725 Speedhorse Lone Star Paint & Appaloosa Futurity, plus both nights a spooky surprise appearance on the track awaits fans in attendance. Gates open Friday & Saturday at 5 p.m. First race starts at 6:05 p.m.

FRIDAY

The featured 6th race on the 12-race card is the 4th renewal of the $20,000 TEXAS ARABIAN LONE STAR JUVENILE for 3-yr-old Arabian horses going 6 furlongs on the main track. MADJESTIC, owned by Nicola Forbes Robinson & Jim Schleimer has won his last three starts, each at a different track. A colt by MADJANI (FR) he has won $20,201 this year winning four of seven starts with two seconds and one third. He is trained by Glen Rottweiler and regular rider Francisco Monroy will have the assignment.

BIG BEN AA, a colt by BURNING SAND is another to watch. Owned by Betty & Joseph Gillis this colt finished second in the Grade 3 Delaware Park Arabian Juvenile Challenge in September. He has bankrolled $23,400 this year winning two, four seconds and one third from seven starts. Jerenesto Torrez trains and Rodolfo Guerra will ride.

Race 9 is the Gridiron Challenge #3 for 3-yr-olds & up at 100 yards. The first and second place finishers in this super-short race will automatically qualify for the final race of the series. The series final will take place on Friday, November 9.

Saturday

The featured eighth race is the 13th running of the Grade 1, $57,725 Lone Star Speedhorse Paint & Appaloosa Futurity at 400 yards. Trials were held two weeks ago with the 10 fastest earning a place in the starting gate for this futurity. The fastest qualifier was Live Moonshine, trained by Matt Whitekiller for owners Kay & Dan Jones. He is a gelding by Crm Livewire and a multiple graded stakes winner of $96,818. He will break from post position six with his regular rider Cody Smith aboard. The field for the Grade 1, $57,725 Lone Star Speedhorse Paint & Appaloosa Futurity with jockey and morning line odds is:
