Majestic Policy Risks Win Streak in AQRA President’s Spring Derby

PHOENIX, AZ—APRIL 16, 2015—Majestic Policy, a gelding by Mighty Invictus campaigned by Rey Moreno-Vasquez, will put his three-race win streak on the line in Sunday’s 350-yard, $10,000-added Arizona Quarter Racing Association President’s Spring Derby at Turf Paradise.

The second-fastest qualifier, Majestic Policy is trained by Tomas Moreno. The gelding scored a three-quarter length victory in the second of two trials on March 29. Majestic Policy drew post 3 and will be ridden by Rodolfo Arvizu.

Fastest qualifier Magical Righter, the 5-2 morning-line favorite, won the first trial by 1 1/2 lengths for her owner, Amanda Casper. A stakes-winning brown daughter of the Chicks Beduino stallion Righter, Magical Righter is trained by Benito Guillen Vega. Emilio Tapia has been named to ride the filly from post 9.
