Fastest Qualifier One Corona At A Time Returns in Mile High Futurity Final

AURORA, CO—AUGUST 17, 2014—One Corona At A Time is the 3-1 morning-line favorite in the 400-yard, $130,000 Mile High Futurity at Arapahoe Park today (Sunday).

A homebred daughter of One Famous Eagle racing for Hugo Sierra Barron from the barn of trainer Jose Manuel Barron, One Corona At A Time was a prompt 2-1 favorite in the last of eight trials on August 1. All told, the filly has won two of five starts and has earned $14,922, and her race record includes a third-place finish against Colorado-breds in the June 15, $75,000 Cherry Creek Futurity (R).

Francisco Giles will ride One Corona At A Time from post 2 in the Mile High Futurity final.

Dana Yoshida-Orozco’s Toshi Yoshi, a homebred gelding by the Shazoom stallion Pool trained by Manuel V. Orozco and the only stakes winner in the 10-horse field, drew post 3 and will be ridden by Ramiro Garcia. Toshi Yoshi has won his last two outs, including the Cherry Creek Futurity.
