SHAKOPEE, MN—JULY 31, 2015—Send Me This Wagon, a 4-year-old daughter of Pyc Paint Your Wagon racing for Randy Hill and trainer Stacy Charette-Hill, is one of seven distaffers entered in Sunday’s 400-yard, $27,500 Canterbury Distaff Bonus Challenge Stakes at Canterbury Park.
Send Me This Wagon will be making her first start since May 28, when she scored a convincing two-length victory in a 300-yard allowance-optional claiming ($20,000) dash at Remington Park in Oklahoma City. The mare is undefeated in two starts at Canterbury Park, as her two wins at the track include a one-length score as the even-money favorite in last year’s 400-yard, $53,000 Canterbury Park Derby.
Send Me This Wagon drew post 7 and will be ridden by Jorge Torres on Sunday.
The complete lineup, in post position order including jockey assignments and morning-line odds--
- Call As Maybe (Larren Delorme), 5-2
- A Priceless Gal (Daniel Torres), 8-1
- Dreamnwideopen (Dale Beaty), 5-1
- Thirty Six Belles (Ry Eikleberry), 12-1
- R Diva (Stormy Smith), 12-1
- Xoom (David Pinon), 5-1
- Send Me This Wagon (Jorge Torres), 9-5.
