TULSA, OK—JULY 25, 2010—Stephanie Sanchez' Jess Dashin To Fame was a game winner of the $20,000 Cherokee Nation Stakes on Sunday evening at Fair Meadows Race Course in Tulsa.

The race 350 yard race was for two-year-olds bred in Oklahoma.

Under jockey Bryan Ernst, Jess Dashin To Fame broke on top and held off Show Me The Wave to the winner's purse of $11,892. Saddled by Jehu Lewis, the Mr Jess Charger gelding completed the course in :17.667 seconds.

Jack Devero bred the winner from Stylus Intent, by Stylus.

Paul Luedemann's Show Me The Wave had to settle for second after finishing a neck off the winner. The Wave Carver gelding bred by Dan Adams earned $3,64. Mollie Stamper trains with Daniel Rose getting the riding assignment.

Finishing a length back for third was Ms Queen Of Naboo, an Azoom filly owned and bred by Ed Melzer. Eddie Willis trains and Matthew Casebolt was in the saddled to earn $2,180.

Completing the field were Mt Rob This Corona, White Litenin, Redneck Sis and Mystifying.
