Mon Ti Rose Picks Up Second Party Girl Stakes Victory on Saturday
BOSSIER CITY, LA—FEBRUARY 6, 2010—Mon Ti Rose won her second Party Girl Stakes in as many years on Saturday afternoon at Louisiana Downs near Bossier City. The Party Girl Stakes for Louisiana-bred 4-year-old and up fillies and mares was run for a $40,000 purse.
Racing for Graciela Medina, the 5-year-old daughter of Dashin Bye completed the course in :17.609 seconds over a muddy surface to defeat Tabasco Mountain by a nose. After a slow start from the gate, the sorrel miss pushed to the lead in the final strides.

Shelley Coldwell Goodnight's homebred, Tabasco Mountain, earned $8,000 for the place. The Panther Mountain 4-year-old is trained by Robert Dimitt and was ridden by Orlando Baldillez.
