Ridden by jockey Alejandro Hernandez, Singles Cruise battled Ifarm to a neck win in the second of two trials to get the top time of :15.660 seconds, a 95 speed index into a 15 mph headwind over a "good" racing surface.

Jockey Blandford Steward was aboard the brown gelding out of Avery Hope by Mr Eye Opener. Bred in Oregon by Donald and Peggy Boyle, Ifarm has finished second and third in two starts at 2.

Timbersknightryder, a 2-year-old by leading Canadian sire First Timber, won the opening trial by half-a-length to get the third fastest time of :15.856 seconds, into a 15 mph crosswind. Jockey J. Botello had the riding call for trainer Les Adams.
