Foose Dependent Wins Jack Robinson Handicap

PLEASANTON, CA—JULY 4, 2018—Foose Dependent picked up her second consecutive win on Wednesday when she defeated Primercartel by half-a-length in the $8,500 Jack Robinson Handicap (not black type) at Oak Tree at Pleasanton.

Ridden by jockey Jesus Arriaga, Foose Dependent raced over the 350 yards in :18.031 seconds, earning a 94 speed index. The daughter of multiple grade 1 sire Foose races for owner Felipe Lopez and is trained by Adolfo Ortiz.

Paul Taylor, Jr. and Paul Taylor III bred the 4-year-old filly in New Mexico from the Mr Jess Perry Independant Woman. She picked up $5,200 to double her earnings total to $10,940.

Trainer Isauro Guillen saddled runner-up Primercartel for owner/breeders Etelvina and Isaias Olmos. Luis Godoy had the riding call aboard the multiple stakes winning son of Prime Talent from the Dash Thru Traffic mare Dashs Windwalker. The 10-year-old gelding has earning of $48,741.

You Do the Math, a 5-year-old daughter of multiple stakes sire Ivory James, races for owner Raul Galeote Garrido and trainer Amanda Lockett. Jairo Rangel rode the Arkansas-bred mare out of Sixes Power by First Down Dash. Bred by Corner K Quarter Horses LLC, You Do The Math earned $960 to bring her earnings total to $36,579.

Chiloso, Zoomin For Hibux, Oak Ranch, Mongoose Foose and Jazzing Nibbler completed the field.
