Im Hott Ur Nott Gets Fifth Straight In Old Timers Classic at Lethbridge

LETHBRIDGE, ALB—JUNE 28, 2015—Ridden by jockey Trevor Simpson, 5-year-old Im Hott Ur Nott raced to a neck victory over Tiny Flying Corona in the $15,300 Old Timers Classic at Lethbridge, on Sunday getting her fifth straight win.

The California-bred daughter of leading sire Tres Seis completed the 350 yards in :17.548 seconds to earn 108 speed index with a 15 mph tailwind. Laurie Ferguson conditions the sorrel mare for owner Ralph Danard.

Bred by Dean Frey, from the First Down Dash mare Wild California Rose, Im Hott Ur Nott's record stands at (18) 10-3-2 and the $8,109 Old Timers purse boosted her earnings to $43,315.

Also a stakes winner, Tiny Flying Corona was looking for this third win of the season but had to settle for second place money of $3,978. William Leech conditions the Tiny First Corona 5-year-old for owner Charles Stojan. Parsons Family Limited Partnership bred the sorrel gelding in California from the Chicks Beduino mare Pj Phoebes Flying. Ricardo Moreno was aboard the $67,875 earner.

Multiple stakes-placed Invisible Wagon finished two lengths off the leaders in third place for owner Wills and Jeffrey Danard. Also trained by Laurie Ferguson, the Pyc Paint Your Wagon 4-year-old was ridden by Tyler Walker. Sally Box bred the filly in Texas from the Invisible Injun mare A Troffe For Injun. She boosted her earnings to total to $35,199 after pocketing $1,836 for the effort.

Poutn With Speed, Mals First Down, Free Thought and Hittinonchicks completed the field.
