OKLAHOMA CITY, OK—APRIL 23, 2015—The last full weekend of racing in April at Remington Park, started extremely well for jockey Jorge Torres as he rode four winners on the Thursday program.

The Torres quadruple started in the fifth race of the evening with Wagons Home ($9.40 to win). Eye Am Tinys First ($20) provided the next win in race six with Bye Bye Prize ($5.40) giving Torres his third in race seven for three consecutive wins in as many events. The fourth victory came in the finale as Susara ($15.40) crossed the finish on top in race 11.

The four wins for Torres gives him 14 for the season and moves him up into a tie for third-place in the standings. He is 16 victories behind the leader in the colony, G.R. Carter, who has 30 wins.

Remington Park’s 2015 American Quarter Horse & Mixed-breed Season continues Friday thru Sunday, April 24-26. The first race Friday and Saturday is at 6pm with the feature stakes race of the weekend on Saturday with the Grade 1, $96,000 American Paint Classic Futurity.

Sunday afternoon features the annual Extreme Racing Day for Charity, with Camels, Ostriches, Zebras, Dinky Donkeys, Pigs and The Express Ranch Clydesdales featured throughout the afternoon of horse racing. The first Extreme Race exhibition has a pair of Clydesdales in a match race at 1pm. The horse racing starts at the normal Sunday time of 1:30pm. All times are Central.

Open daily at 10:30am for casino gaming and simulcast racing, Remington Park features the Bricktown Brewery on the casino floor. Admission, general parking and valet parking are always free at Remington Park, home of the $1,000,000 Heritage Place Futurity on Saturday, May 30.
