AJAX, ONT—AUGUST 19, 2014—Multiple stakes winner Jesskissmytexas dominated a field of seven Tuesday afternoon with a 1˝ length winning performance over Cruwysn The Arctic in the $47,970(US) Ontario Sires Stakes Maturity at Ajax Downs. Charted By Dm finished a neck back in third.

Ridden by jockey Cory Spataro, Jesskissmytexas broke on top and finished the 400 yards in :20.050 seconds to pickup the winner's purse of $19,579(US). It was the sixth win in 12 starts for the Kim Ito trainee who pushed his career earnings mark over $102,000.

The Mr Jess Tex 4-year-old races for owner DK Training Centre. Donald M. Ito bred the gray in Ontario from the Strawfly Special mare Strawfly Fortune. Returning as the fastest qualifier from the August 4th trials, Jesskissmytexas went off as the heavy favorite.

Cruwysn The Arctic closed willing under jockey Chelsey Willick to earn $9,790 for owners Bob and Gail Woodward. Greg Watson conditions the Dash To The Arctic 5-year-old out of Sobriety Miss, by The Corona. The Woodwards bred the sorrel gelding in partnership with W. Cruwys.

Trainer Darlene Ballis-Hunderup saddled Charted By Dm for an impressive effort to finish third. Heste Sports, Inc. bred the son of Dm Selexus from the Check The Charts mare Shake The Chart. Ridden by Lloyd Desouza, Charted By Dm earned $4,8895(US) for his effort.

Pegasos One Underpar, Oh Gary, North Of Carolina and Cruwysn Down Home completed the field. Hurricane Alexandra, Not Looking To Shake and Sugarnspicenotsonice were scratched.
