FARMINGTON, NM—APRIL 27, 2013—Barely one month ago Incoho Tes won a 350 yard $20,000 claiming race for 3-Year-Old & Up Quarter Horses at Sunland Park. Sunday afternoon the Rabbits Rainbow filly took a big step up in class, after recovering from an early stumble, to rally over Maggie Get Down by a nose in the $65,000 Four Corners Senora Stakes at SunRay Park.
Under jockey Manuel Gutierrez, Incoho Tes completed the 400 yard course, for New Mexico state-bred fillies and mares 3-year-olds & up, in :19.449 seconds, a 93 speed index. The $39,000 pay day was the biggest in her 7-year-old career and nearly doubled her earnings mark to $80,360.

Maggie Get Down picked up $14,300 with her second place effort for owner Socorro Medrano. Also trained by Juan Torres, the Get Down Perry 4-year-old was ridden by Macario Rodriguez.
Doug Mills and Perry White bred Maggie Get Down from the Magnificence mare Magnificent Tyger. She has earned $34,913.
Alonso and Sylvia Aranda's Wdc Wendys Wine finished a head back in the show position for trainer Isidro Rodriguez. Coming off a third place finish in the Grade 2 Bank of America Sunland Challenge Championship in her last start, the Woodbridge filly pushed her career bankroll to $77,418. Ridden by Esgar Ramirez, the brown miss was bred by Denton Crozier from the Vita Sign mare Signs Of Spending.
Incoho Tes rewarded backers with $27.80 to win, $12.40 to place and $3.40 to show. Maggie Get Down paid $19.80 and $5.80 and Wdc Wendys Win returned $2.10 to show.
Completing the field were Sparklin Royal, Gonna Dash, Desert Delight Cash and Smafricate. Sandys Jesse was scratched.
