COLLEGE STATION, TX–DECEMBER 4, 2025–Granada Farms is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Jody Norris and Rob Norris to the Granada Farms team as the operation prepares for a strong 2026 breeding season.
Dr. Jody Norris has been hired as a second veterinarian at Granada Farms, providing expanded veterinary support across the program. She will focus on herd health, mares and foals, reproductive services, and general veterinary care.
Norris’ addition to the staff marks a full-circle moment in her career: she began at Granada Farms as an intern in 1999, became breeding manager in 2001, and later departed in 2008 to pursue her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. During her veterinary training, she worked with the Equine Embryo Laboratory at Texas A&M University, where she played a role in developing the commercial ICSI program now widely used in equine practices.
Rob Norris joins Granada Farms as the new Farm Manager, overseeing all sale preparation and day-to-day farm management. A retired U.S. Army veteran with 25 years of service, Norris brings a decade of hands-on experience across the racing Quarter Horse industry, including breeding, sales prep, and training.
Dr. Mark Nevill remains Granada Farms’ lead veterinarian and will continue managing breeding, embryo transfer, and reproductive care. Nevill has served Granada Farms and its clients for 35 years and looks forward to another successful year in 2026. Together, Dr. Nevill, Dr. Norris, and breeding manager Angie Doonan are positioned to deliver a productive and efficient breeding season.
Granada Farms’ office operations continue under the steady leadership of Erika Donaldson, who will enter her 21st breeding season with the farm in 2026. Alongside Beth Goode, Donaldson remains a primary point of contact for clients and is available to assist with scheduling, questions, and farm services.
Granada Farms is proudly owned by Pete Scarmardo and Johnny Trotter. With deep industry knowledge and decades of experience, their leadership has helped elevate Granada Farms to its current standing in the Quarter Horse breeding world.
The 2026 stallion roster includes Cyber Attack, Dulce Sin Tacha, EC Jet One, El Rey Hidas, Eye On The Card, One Famous Eagle, Hawkeye, MM I Bleed Maroon, This Is An Eagle, and View Me Flying.
For additional information or client services, please contact Rob Norris at (979) 895-3282 or the Granada Farms office at (979) 828-5167.
