JEROME, ID–JUNE 19, 2026–The Sunday afternoon card at the Jerome County Fair promises plenty of excitement, with an action-packed ten-race program showcasing some of the region's most promising young Quarter Horses. Headlining the afternoon are the $30,000 Roche Equine Veterinary Services Futurity Finals and the $19,300 Five Livestock Company & Rod Mills Memorial Derby Finals, two races that will bring together the fastest qualifiers from the June 7 trial heats.

The featured event is the tenth and final race of the afternoon, in which a talented field of eight juveniles will battle over 330 yards in the $30,000 Roche Equine Veterinary Services Futurity Finals.

Leading the field is Faithfuly, the 5-2 morning-line favorite. The filly delivered an impressive trial, charging along the rail to win by a neck and posting the fourth-fastest qualifying time. Her strong finish demonstrated the determination that could make her a major threat in the championship event.

Faithfuly is owned by Steve M. Wright, Gregg B. Gibson, and Linda Arrossa. Bred in Oklahoma by Monty Arrossa, she is a daughter of FDD Dynasty out of the One Sweet Jess mare Doing Trix. Trainer Jarrett Mills will saddle the promising filly from the outside post eight, with regular rider Oscar Villa returning to the irons.

Among her toughest challengers is Easter Spcle Miracle, listed at 7-2 on the morning line. The filly made an immediate impression in her career debut, leading from start to finish in her trial heat to secure the fastest qualifying time. After showing both speed and determination in that victory, she will look to duplicate the effort in the richest race of her young career.

The daughter of Easter Special Rosas and the Buzz Word mare Bma Lake Van was bred in Texas by owner Raul Rosas. Trainer Abelardo Gonzalez has the filly ready for the final from post four, with Luis A. Collazo set to retain the ride.

Earlier on the card, the spotlight shifts to the sophomore division in the eighth race, where eight talented three-year-olds line up for the $19,300 Five Livestock Company & Rod Mills Memorial Derby Finals. The field will travel 350 yards, with a scheduled post time of approximately 3:55 p.m.

Thought It Deluxe enters the final as the 5-2 morning-line favorite following a consistent, productive campaign. The gelding finished second in his trial heat behind BG Follow My Lead and has steadily developed into one of the division's most reliable performers. Earlier this season, he won his trial for the Spring Classic Maiden Frolic before returning to finish second in the final. With nine career starts, he has repeatedly shown the ability to compete at a high level.

Owned and bred in Idaho by Jorge Murillo, Thought It Deluxe is a son of Eagle Deluxe, out of the Foose mare Thought It Through. Trainer Jose A. Pulido will saddle the gelding from post eight, with Raul Zapien returning aboard for the championship race.

In addition to the two headline finals, Jerome County Fair offers a strong supporting program that adds even more excitement to the afternoon. Fans will also enjoy the $5,000 Denny Weight Overnight Futurity, the $5,000 Bob Giltner Overnight Derby, the $8,050 Harvest Cup Paint and Appaloosa Futurity, and the $5,000 Pete Arrossa Memorial.

With championship races for both juveniles and sophomores, competitive undercard stakes, and a full day of racing action, Jerome County Fair is set to deliver one of its most exciting afternoons of the season, as some of the Northwest's brightest Quarter Horse prospects compete for top honors.
