TULSA, OK–JUNE 11, 2026–A competitive night of Quarter Horse racing awaits fans at Fair Meadows on Saturday, with a ten-race program featuring two stakes events that promise plenty of action. First post is set for 6:00 p.m., with the $25,000 Golden Driller Stakes and the $25,000 Fair Meadows Juvenile Stakes as the evening's featured attractions.
The spotlight first turns to race seven, the $25,000 Golden Driller Stakes, where a talented field of six runners, aged three and up, will sprint 350 yards. The race is scheduled to go to the gate at approximately 8:30 p.m.
Heading the field is Invasive, the 5-2 morning-line favorite making his first start of 2026. Although the four-year-old gelding has yet to race this season, his recent workouts suggest he is ready for a strong return. Most notably, he recorded the fastest workout of the day at Remington Park on May 20, covering 220 yards in :12.52.
The accomplished gelding has earned $144,946 and has three wins from fifteen career starts. His resume includes a win in the Los Alamitos Derby Challenge Stakes and a runner-up finish in the James S. Smith Memorial Handicap. Racing for Equestix Consulting, LLC, which purchased him for $67,000 at the Heritage Place Winter Mixed Sale, Invasive enters Saturday's contest with credentials that justify his favorite status.
Bred in California by Steve D. Burns, DVM, the son of Favorite Cartel out of the A Regal Choice mare, Don't Pass Bar will break from post three for trainer Luz Chavira. Jockey Cordarelton J. Benn has the call as the pair look to begin the season with a stakes victory.
While Invasive will attract plenty of attention, the Golden Driller Stakes offers depth throughout the field. Corona Relentless, breaking from the rail, is at 3-1, while longshot Cuz Aldrin will leave from post two at 12-1. Paint This Rose draws post four at 4-1, and Flying Nova enters at 7-2. Fire N Speed rounds out the field from post six at 4-1, creating a competitive race where every contender has a chance to make an impact.
The excitement continues in race nine with the $25,000 Fair Meadows Juvenile Stakes, where a field of nine promising two-year-olds will race 350 yards at approximately 9:20 p.m.
Leading the juvenile lineup is JK Triple Dip, the 3-1 morning-line favorite. The gelding has shown consistency early in his young career, with one win and two runner-up finishes in four starts, earning $19,496. With valuable racing experience already under his belt, he enters Saturday's stakes test seeking his first black-type victory.
Owned and bred in Oklahoma by Regina Laymon, JK Triple Dip is a son of Hes Relentless, out of the One Dashing Eagle mare Double Eagle. Trainer Victor Ibarra will saddle the gelding from post seven, while Mario Delgado will ride the juvenile favorite.
The rest of the field is filled with lightly raced runners looking to establish themselves in Oklahoma's promising juvenile division. Cyber Affair breaks from post one at 8-1, followed by Rokket Scientist at 15-1 from post two. MmFlying Eagle is listed at 6-1 from post three, while Uptown Bigg Daddy starts from post four at 15-1. G Viper enters at 4-1 from post five. Royal Bloodline is a strong contender at 7-2 from post six. Shez An Eagle Heart leaves from post eight at 8-1, and Whatta Prize completes the lineup from post nine at 12-1.
With a proven stakes performer making his seasonal debut in the Golden Driller Stakes and a talented group of juveniles aiming to announce their arrival in the Fair Meadows Juvenile Stakes, Saturday night offers plenty of intrigue. Fans and bettors can expect an entertaining evening of speed, emerging talent, and competitive racing as Fair Meadows presents one of its strongest cards of the season.
The races at Fair Meadows can be watched on Q-Racing Video.
